About Us
Nick TC Scan(Gambia)Ltd is an international Ghana-Gambia company incorporated in The Gambia in 2018 and officially commenced business in August 2019.The company was awarded a contract by the Government of Gambia through GRA to implement a non-intrusive container scanning system in the port of Banjul after a competitive bidding process under the Public Private Partnership policy to take over from Scanning Systems-Ivory Coast after the expiration of their contract in 2018.
This was to implement a state-of-the-art scanning system with less radiation to scan all containers at the Port of Banjul to ensure appropriate declaration and payment of duties and taxes on consignments as a way to improve government revenue, facilitate trade and improve national security.
After an impressively successful implementation of the non-intrusive container scanning project, The Gambia Government through GRA awarded another contract to further implement a Customs Clearance system that have all stakeholders on a single platform, dubbed GNSW(Gambia National Single Window) in 2022 which launched into full operation from 1st August 2023.
The company is poised to achieve the best out of the tailored single window system for The Gambia. The Single Window project include Ports Clearance system, Weighbridge, E-tracking and Optical Character Recognition(OCR) Container Tallying system.
With partners Customs Uni-Pass International Agency (CUPIA) through Ghana Link Network Services Limited the parent company that have successfully implemented the Single Window in Ghana is facilitating the implementation in The Gambia.
The main partners in the Gambia National Single window project is Ministry of Finance, Gambia Port Authority and Gambia Revenue Authority who are facilitating the implementation to improve government revenue collection.
